I just changed out my trany and tcase with ATF+4...from using Royal Purple Synchromax.
All I can say, is that I'm dumping the ATF+4 with only 6000 miles on it and going back to RPS!

Easiest way I found to re-fill teh trans and t case (t case especially) is to get a little drill operated pump and fittings for a couple pieces of hose. use the pump to fill them from a gallon jug. Otherwise it's a buch of contortions with a hose tped to the end of a gear oil cap.

Yesterday, I just finished changing the oil in the front differential, rear differential, transfer case and the transmission along with the transmission filter. I have a 2005 the 48RE transmission. What a royal pain in the butt! Since I had no drain plug, transmission fluid went everywhere! I put a plug in so that I would never have to do that again.

As far as ATF+4 fluid, I went to NAPA and paid $3.88/qt for the NAPA brand which is made by valvoline which is over $5. It took 7 quarts to refill it to the max hot level on the dipstick.
