2005 CTD What warranty.

A few months ago I talked to the dealer and they told me that I had a 7yr/70k warranty on powertrain and 5yr/100k on motor.

Now I seem I might be having some transmission issues and now I had a 3/36k on powertrain. Can someone help me out????

05's have a 7/70 powertrain and 5/100 on the motor from Cummins after the 7/70 is exhausted.

Dodge today just told me I had a 3/36 why would that be? I think it's ******** to tell you the truth. 7/70 is what I was told 6 months ago.

The warranty is spelled out in the documention that came with the truck. The powertrain is 7/70. Get out your book and show them.

Of course the ssmarty would be returned down to stock and taken out. The gauges I think could stay.

Now as for this issue with the transmission. My truck has a 6" lift and 37's, also I have the dieselmanor return line for the temp sensor.

Think Dodge would BS me.

It wouldn't be BS. 37's and a tranny issue? You must be joking.

Your lift and your tires very probably stress your tranny far more than stock.

Don't waste your time. The dealer will laugh at you bringing in a truck with 6" lift 37" tires, gauges and stacks looking for tranny work. They know with one glance at the truck your running some sort of power adder, even the lift and tires is enough to turn down any drivetrain claims. They won't lift a finger for warranty unless you REALLY know someone.

Mortgage the house and get a built tranny...

If they warranty your tranny I'm moving within walking distance of that dealer...

37" tires, did you change the Ring and pinion gears, no--gee I wonder why you have a tranny problem. I am surprised it lasted this long.
