2004 CTD Fan Clutch issues
Okay
I just bought a 2004 CTD... The wires on the fan clutch have been cut and so has the the connection that goes into the harness on the ECM.
My question is this:
Where does the connection on the ECM run from? Can I just hardwire from the Fan Clutch into a switch in the cab?
There are 5 wires on the new fan clutch that run into the connector that plugs into the plug on the harness. Can you tell me What those 5 wires do.
Also can you tell me which connector on the ECM controls the fan clutch? Is it the 50 pin? and can you tell me which pins I can splice into so that if needed I can just splice into the ECM harness where it connects to the ECM.
I am really in a bind here guys. I have no clue where the wires were cut at and have tried tracing it with no luck.
