2004 3500 lift pump
Just to let you no that I had a lift pump go out at 106,000 miles, the dodge dealer gave me a price to replace it with the in tank kit,$ 970.00,I had to have it tow so it is at the Dealer now, said it will take about a week to get it in and fix it,something about where they get their parts ,they are out of the kits so they have to fine it somewhere else. Don't have any warrenty left darn it.

You can do a Walbro kit from Glacier Diesel yourself. I don't know the current prices, but it has to be cheaper than that! Mine has been on now for 130,000 miles. Plus you can get at it to fix it without dropping the tank.

You can also get the stock replacement from Genos garage for about $200 and not do the in tank. I put one on a few months back. I will put a better pump on in the future, just not the Dodge in-tank replacement.

I did a Raptor an a 04.5 recently for about 400 bucks... very easy to do. Don't have to drop the tank/lift the bed, and you have a life time warranty on the pump.

A bit off topic. as usual. I need the in tank assembly from an 03-04 truck that had the pump on the engine. Dealers were throwing these away awhile back and cannot find one now.
