The existing #4 line is already treated with an autofrettage treatment.

This is 6mm OD tubing with a 3mm ID hole and made by Usui.

My #4 fuel line just cracked open last night 100 miles from home. The Dodge dealers don't have them. I called Cummins to see about getting one and they are now out of them too. You'll never guess where I found one... Ebay!

The seller had 4 more of them. Just type in "cummings" (yes I know... the seller mispelled it, not me) It's probably a good thing for me that he mispelled it, otherwise they might have all been sold already. I saw another one on there for $200. Supply and demand means he will probably get that for this $22 tube.

My truck is at 101k and the isolator mount was loose.

Well I don't post much on here anymore, but add me to the list of broke fuel lines. Not sure which number, I just had it towed to the dealer. If I had to guess I would guess #4.

Man this totally sucks.

Cummins called me today and said that they do have about 500 of them in their Memphis Tennessee warehouse. You have to tell the Cummins rep that your truck is down and they have to manually allocate the part to get it. Dodge doesn't have any that I am aware of. You will have an easier time getting it than your dealer, plus it should be a lot cheaper.

I bought one online over the weekend, and the dealer my truck is sitting out will be waiting to install it tomorrow.

I just called the Cummins dealer and ordered one. Paid 30 bucks to have it shipped to my house. Don't want the wife getting stuck out in the middle of no where with my son while I am over seas.

Right on I will keep that in mind. I don't need it put on right now, just saw all the problems everyone was having and figured I don't want my wife and son to get stranded out in the middle of no where and have no idea whats going on.

1/7 hu? That's awesome. I was stationed in 29 Palms for 4 years with 3/11. Spent another 3 years in San Diego, and now a year in Oki. I just found out today that my terminal leave got approved, so I will be flying home in a few weeks.

I just ordered mine and was told they only sell one of them per engine serial number. If it's getting to that, it's hard for me to believe this piece hasn't made it into a mass recall. "They made a batch special" for this issue, so they (Cummins and Dodge) must know the problem exists and it's leaving people stranded. It's one thing to be down and in the garage, but it's another to be on the side of the road with my prize Buick on the trailer...
