I think as a whole most manfacturers just start stiffing up the ride with their "off rd packages". I know the ford equivalent rides like a dump truck, whereas a normal super duty rides pretty good.

Overall I think the cheesy stickers and red shocks are not really worth much extra. I peeled my stickers off and just replaced all the shocks

I would not go seeking a TRX4 truck, but I guess they are not a bad find if you come across one. Don't let people fool you into thinking it is something special though, nowhere near the same as a power wagon.
Hard to tell from your avatar, but if you went from a long frame (Mega) to a short frame (Quad) that would be a big difference in ride I'd think.

Yeah I went from Mega to Quad. Mega was very smooth ride with stock suspension and 315's on stock wheels. Definately a more harsh ride now with the QC.

yeah, mine has big ol 35 inch tires on it, so I think it absorbs some of it. It just feels like a tight, powerful truck, and thats good to me. I dont like the swaying and engine jerking of the 1500 I had before - felt like a cream puff - this 2500 TRX4 eats the road up. Give me a year, and Ill be complaining.
