06 G56 Vibration!

My brother has got an 06 with a new kennys clutch, and going at higher speeds when he lets out of the throttle there is a bad vibration but if he puts it in neutral it stops and if he accelerates it stops! were not for sure if its the clutch or not but it kinda sounds like it!

that or carrier bearing, mine had a vibe around 70 t0 80 and it was a u joint i would think if it was a clutch issue it would do it all the time

Did you take the driveshaft apart for any reason? If you get it out of phase they will act the way you describe. If you take apart a u-joint and not put the yoke together the same way it came apart(180 deg off) they will do the same thing too.

Also it only does it ever so often! And i dont get that when ever he puts it in neutral it stops, I would think that if it was a ujoint it would still have a vibration if it was out of gear!

let me know what you find out, ive got the same problem, i bought my 06 auto truck with 7800 miles on it, has a lift on it and has a vibration between 55 and 70mph, neutral kind of goes away and not always there, when i get the vibration almost sounds like a peanut roaster churning once in a while, has me baffled, the truck only has 14,000 miles on it, dealer has not found it yetim going to rebalance tires but dobt it will be them, be interested to see what you come up with, if i find mine ill be sure to post it,mike
