Unhappy 05 trannyy problems

had to bring my 05 2500 in today. i would take of from a light an it would stay in first till i would let off then go in to second. then go right back to first. dealer found burnt fuild and metal saving in pan waiting to here from them tomorrow to see if i get a new one. anyone had this happen?

Unless its rebuilding cost is more than replacing it .....they will tear it apart and fix whats wrong....hopefully.
