05 ram starting difficulties

i just got my truck finished, rebuilt it, and have put probly 650 miles on it with no problems, well christmas eve night i went to start it and it cranked for probly 7-10 secs then started, well the rest of the night and a day or so no problems then it comes back again, it only happens when i drive it shut it off for up to, 2hrs rand it will do it, if it sets over night or for along period of time no problem, changed fuel filter, no change even though it was pretty dirty, im 99.9% positive its the in tank pump because when i turn key i dont here it, then when i bump starter is kicks on a truck fires right up, any ideas or experience with this problem, your advice would be greatly appriciated, also no warranty, rebuilt title, sorry for the long post,
thanks seth
truck is 05 dually quad cab, 4x4 6-spd, 35,000 miles bone stock

the in tank filter only runs a short while unless you crank the truck once it build pressure i think it stops, you could try opening your water drain on the filter and turn the key on and see if fuel flows if it doese mayt not be in tank pump

they just came out with a hard to start flash, mine did the exact same thing now it's good. Now if they could just figure out how to make it die quitly and not idle way down between shifts i'd be good.

Weak battery/low voltage can also cause this.
