P0088-FUEL RAIL PRESSURE SIGNAL IS ABOVE MAX LIMIT

Given the information you provided, it sounds like you might need a new RP sensor. I'd then check the FCA (fuel control actuator). It is that little electronic solenoid on the back of the CP3.

Does the truck run any different at all? You may want to have the code cleared and see if it comes back.

I would replace the FCA (fuel control actuator). It will cause rough running. Does it rattle as well? If you unplug that solenoid it should make the same noise while idling as a result from high rail pressure.

removed the acf value & it will rattle , When i drive it half throttle fuel psi drops to 3200 & let up & it go bake up to 25000 . lite throttle is ok. sometimes it kicks in & runs good for a second.new fuel filter

The FCA is sticking which will at times cause spikes and rapid drops (back and forth) of the target pressure commanded by the ECM. Replace the FCA.
