05 noise

I just bought my girlfriend an 05 4x4 6spd and had a question. When you fire it up it almost sounds like it has a squeaky belt or something. You can hear it when driving also. The truck now has about 400 miles on it. Is this normal on the 05's because the engine is quiet, alowing you to hear all of these sounds? The 03 I traded in on it didn't make this sound. Engine breakin maybe?

Thanks

Squeky belt? Take it back to the dealer.

either way, I don't think it would be normal break in, although its hard to know exactly what you are hearing without actually hearing it.

A lot of people question the "chirp" when they turn OFF these trucks. That's normal. I don't think it's normal on startup. I'd have it checked out.
