My '05 only has 5000 miles on it and only 1000 of that is towing. Usually put 2-4k towing miles on it a year since I work the rest of the time.

Our Sunnybrook tops out at ~7200#s and is easy to tow.

Ran into a guy in Leavenworth, WA with '01 CTD pulling an Excel Limited 36 footer. It was a monster of a 5ver. He lived in Texas until he retired, had just come down from a trip to Alaska. Tons of towing miles and loved his truck. Only catch was that it had a 6-speed.

Will be taking 4-5 weeks this summer to visit family in Minnesota. Going to take our time getting there and coming back. Can't wait to pull some passes.

I tow around 15000lbs pretty much 90% of the time. The truck is 6 months old and has about 48,000 miles on it. Just took it in for a tranny problem. Did not want to shift out of park. Other than that I love the truck.

I have it worst here. I run around on 37" tires, pull 18k at least once a week, and have 500+whp on the stock tranny. It's just starting to slip pulling grades while towing. I could avoid the situation entirely if I took the tst twins off 4x4 and mp8 on 25%, but where's the fun in that. Forgot to add, 16,5 on the clock.

I'm at 18,000 and have towed (12K) for about 3,000 miles and (4K) for about 1,000 miles.

64k on the clock and 99% of those miles are with a 9k trailer and of that 60% is loaded with an additional 10k or so no problems yet.
