Got to finally get around yesterday and try to crank the 04.5 I picked up a few weeks ago.

We are getting fuel to the filter, so I know lift pump is good. Could not get the truck fire off.

Where/how do I check pressure on the fuel rail? Looks like the FCA has been changed prior to truck being sat up. Is there a way to check it?

Truck is 04.5 with an automatic. I am new to working on the CR engines, so please go easy on me.

Unplug FCA, it will default and allow to run if thats the problem. Make sure you have the simple stuff covered. Check oil and fluids. You said been sitting up. How long? Check your batteries.

 

Fluids are fine. Once cranked, will change everything. Been sitting up about a year, but new batteries. Will try unplugging FCA.
