No crank dust seal used when replacing front crank seal?

I have seen a reference to a black dust seal that sits between the crank seal and balancer. I got my TST KDP kit but I did not see a dust seal included with the front seal in it. Were dust seals not used originally on these motors or is it something that does not normally come with front seals and needs to be ordered separately. Can you reuse the dust seal if the original is there when taken apart? Just getting ready to get this job done and want to make sure I have all details covered before starting.

Ok, thanks. Perhaps this motor in a different application had it. Good to know. Won't worry about it now. Hopefully those four 10mm fan bracket bolts won't give me too much grief. Letting those bolts soak overnight with PB Blaster. Don't want to snap a bolt there.

I was worried about them also, but they and the dampener came right off...Mark
