03 Vibe in steering wheel

I read a while back about some weight that needs to be installed on one of the power steering hoses on the 03 model trucks to stop the vibe at about 70 mph. If anyone has a pic of where this weight goes or where I can get this weight to on my truck it would be helpful.

I think the "roctek" (spelling) timing device site (boy this response is making me sound like an idiot! ) is where I found what you're talking about.

I'm going to do some research and post the address if I find it.

Please let me know if you like it. I might (will) need that setup too. I have the buzz through my truck too.

I asked a dealership out here about a recall. They said nope. They said TSB would not be free. But hat doesnt matter, because they could not find any vibration or buzzing!!!

Hopefully you get a better answer.

I called my local dodge dealership today and they said if the truck was not still under warranty than they would not do any of the TSB's as long as the truck was still operating safely. Im not one to give up easily so Ill be calling dodge tomorrow, there is no sense in offering a TSB and then not covering it when the warranty is out.

I hope you get better results than I did. When I was denied, I just said, "ok" and left. I guess I was being a whimp!

But I would have more trust in an aftermarket "fix" then a recall/TSB "fix", and didn't seem too much from that website.

Typically, the info is only to be used to aid in diagnosis. All warranty still applies or not depending on the vehicle. TSB is totally different from a recall. Recalls I think is what you are thinking about and they are for safety. A noise or vibration is not going to be considered a safety issue. Here is what is printed at the top of every TSB.
