Lifted 3" now low speed vibe in 4 high

Had my lift installed last week 3" Tuff Country. Not very happy with the quality but that is a different story. The truck is now all back together. I had my alignment on Monday. We are receiving some snow tonight so I had it in 4 High for my travel tonight. I am receving a slight vibration that is quite noticeable between 10-20 mph. You can feel it right up through the steering wheel. Where should I be looking to diagnose this.

If big tires with big lugs were installed at the same time as the lift then I would say thats what your feeling but probably you feel a u-joint that lived a happy life at stock height and now is telling you its going bad from increased u-joint angles.

I kept my winter tires on. I have not installed any big rubber yet due to the season. I am thinking it is probably the fr. u joint due to acting up at such a low speed?

More than likely it's your u-joints on the front drive shaft, if you've got a lot of miles on the truck a slightly worn joint will be much more apparent now. I don't have any vibration in 4x until I get up in the 40+ mph range w/ my 5" lift, but I've only got 43k on the truck.

hehehe , i know your not going to believe this but check your front wheel bearing assy. EVERY time mine would do what you said it was my bearings going out . they come as an assembly cost bout 281 $ i will all but guarantee this is your prob on a 99, jack up your truck and see if the front wheel has play in it
