'03 options
I've been trying to find a list of ALL the factory available options for the '03 HO/6spd. Any one have a source ? I see in the brochure it has a blip about a exhaust brake being available - I'm highly interested in that option, and makes me wonder what else is available. Any one got a price adder for the jake brake ?

Rob
Re:'03 options
thanks for links hunter. Is this a factory installed option, or a dealer only installed option ???? The 'build your own' sheet didn't have the option code for the jake brake.

KTM,

The new dealer accessories catalog just came out. Check with your dealer again - - he should have it, or getting it very shortly. My dealer got his today. Can't wait to get home and browse. Most other places have nothing on the 2003 specific yet - - only things that might carry over from the 2002 1500. The Jake brake is dealer installed - - $799 with a $500 rebate if you can qualify. Check with your dealer on qualification requirements - - it is pretty broad.

Re:'03 options
Great, thanks for the info. I'll have to check a dealer for the accessories catalog. I'm planning on ordering a truck after the first of the year sometime - So I'm trying to gather up all the info on the exact options I want.

One other question.....When I test drove one the other day the first thing I noticed was they added a grab handle on the drivers side pillar. Anyone know if there is gauge solution for this pillar? Does anyone have a pod housing for this ? I want to add a pyro and boost gauge right away to keep an eye on the H.O.

MisterKTM,

Sierra Phil posted a pic of an installation of his two gauges beside his trailer brake controller. Very professional looking job. A little out of the way to see it, but it is not like you are watching these gauges like a speedo. He put the controller in the middle of the cubby by the ash tray and one gauge on each side. I may look at doing the same.

Bob

Fiver, I'm not the Phil who posted pic of gauges, its the other Phil. Don't want to take credit for a nice job where credit is not due. I plan on mounting exhaust Temp and Boost Gauges above dash next to pillar eventually. First to get sprayed-in bedliner.

Oh goody, thanks a lot. Now I am only half senile. Got the Phil correct, just not the right one.
So, where was that post of his gauges? Great looking installation. I get to tackle that in a week. Controller and gauges. Hey, I just might get a spray in bed liner too.
