Question 03 g56?!

so i have a 03 auto in my sig with maybe a cpl more mods than posted(not like it matters) i was just riding in my buddies 03 ctd with a 6spd and realized I HAVETA HAVE 1. is it possible to rip my auto out and stuff a 6spd in and if so wut kind of surgery am i looking at price wise? thanx

i realize i might haveta go nv5600 but any manual would be better than these autos that have a tendency to slip when you get a little heavy on the pedal

for the price your looking at 3k and up(just for a standard shift/not upgraded clutch ect....) you mise well upgrade that auto which will handle like a champ once its built!!

what do u think im looking at price wise to build up a decent auto? i plow with the truck and tow, would like give give a sled a tug one of these days. i dont ill ever go huge power with this truck so it wont be raced or anything like that

I put $4500 in my tranny, it only lasted 46,000 miles, go for the stick!

Go for the 6spd if you find someone willing to swap. Otherwise you would prob be better off doing like the others said and build up the auto.

Try finding a wreck truck that you can get one out of. You might need a drive shaft also.
