03 Died with no codes no fuel at filter canister.

Good afternoon DTR forum. I've read and read and read. Here's the deal. I'm in Fremont Ohio, it's been cold. I just replaced both batteries the other day nice strong crank and turn over. Shortly after I had longer cranks but still fired up fine just took longer. Got in truck this morning at 0615 she had the long crank but fired up. Backing out of my couple hundred foot driveway she shuttered a bit and I thought huh must be the ice. Kept on my route to work did it once or twice then about 20 miles from the house she died pulling away from a stop sign in the middle of the intersection. Morning coffee kicked in and of course I had to push the truck out of the road. Only codes on key is P0514, P0483, and P2509. I opened the drain at the filter canister and nothing comes out. Is it possible that my filter is clogged enough not to allow it to drain? It has the retrofitted in tank pump. And an old edge EZ that was on the truck when I got it. Praying for the filter which I'm heading out to change but prepping for worse. What do you guys think? I run standyne performance but could be gelled I guess. Fuses and relays seem fine I swapped the fog relay since it has the same p/n as fuel pump but want your guys thoughts.

Thanks,
Mike

P 0483 is fan speed, P 0514 battery temp sensor, P 2509 poor battery connections ground, low battery voltage. I would check the voltage of both batteries, with the ground wire disconnected , symptoms seem to relate to low voltage. I would also check and clean all battery connections, as stated before wally world left a ground loose and that boiled both batteries , had to replace both, since U replaced both it may be a loose or bad dirty connection

Well I just put 2 new batteries in charged them for a few hours to make sure they didn't drain on the shelf. Put new ground wires on in July but will recheck. It acts like it's out of fuel. I pulled the filter and turned on key didn't see any fuel fill up. I'm not getting any lift pump or co3 codes. Ran good. Then acted like it was struggling then died. Got it towed home and can't restart

Double check your connections and grounds first. Then try unplugging the fan under the shroud. If the fan clutch shorts out it will steal the 5v reference from the other sensors and the truck won't run.

Check the fuel pump power wire at the drivers side battery. Most likely you didn't connect the wire back on. Should be a red wire coming from relay plastic tied to wire bundle on firewall near brake booster. Check the fuse in that wire also pull it out and test does the fuse look burnt? was it pushed in all the way? You can test relay with test light make sure it power on when you bump starter.

solder a new connector but do not put it back on battery terminal, connect it to the pdc battery connector, less chance of corrosion doing that again. cut back the wire a about inch to get into good clean copper wire, then soldier connector do not use a crimp. corrosion will set in and cause voltage drop sooner or later.
