wheel Align - Toe in
wheel Align - Toe in
Got new BFGs, and looks like my tires are Toed out a bit much with slite feathering
My last align specs are,
camber L/R .3 / -.2
Caster R/L 2.6 / 2.6
Toe L/R .05 / .05 , Total Toe .09
I found a post where DDS Russ recomended Toe in .125
My caster looks less at 2.6 where DDS recommends 4.5, But my steering is tight, no pull, no shimmy etc
Think I will get new front shocks to still have the originals
Its a stock front suspension, 99 ctd 4x4 longbed, I baby this truck no curb hitting, and dont use it for trashing off road at all , thats what my jeep is for
What do you think of my specs? Need more toe in?
.

1/8 inch toe in (.125") is great for handling and stability but tire wear will suffer somewhat. I have found that setting them at 1/16" toe in is a good compromise.
3 1/2 degrees of caster would be nice too, but if it isn't handling badly, at this stage adjusting it wouldn't be worth replacing the control arms when all the seized bolts break.
