not that it makes to much difference, but I didn't want my outside lugs to chip on the gravel rock, so I had the tire siped on all the tread except for the outside lugs. Should have better taction than the non-siped, and still preserve the lugs. M55 are expensive, but I like em.

Shopping for new tires 315/70/17 I would like to go to an all terrain tire but I'm only finding them in 8 Ply, well almost found Toyo's but not sure I want to put out the money.
My question is can I use an 8 Ply? My main concern is when I have my camper on not sure how well the 8 Ply will hold up.
Any one running 8 Ply that hauls heavy loads on occasion?

I got the Toyo's on and really like them. The ride is a lot better than they Toyo MT I had on there. I got them siped also should be good to go for winter.
