Spray entire truck in line x?

Pondering spraying my entire truck in line X or maybe a do it yourself kit like this: http://www.duplicolor.com/products/bedArmorAerosol/
Whats everyones thoughts? I use my truck as a truck and I would get brush scratches in new glossy paint by the following october of a fresh repaint so I figured this would work?

Research some of the ones available. Saw it done once and it looked great until the UV rays started dulling it out. Tough as nails though!

Go talk to your local Linex dealer. There's a good chance that he has an application he's done you can look at as an example. My dealer had his personal pickup about 60% covered in Linex color matched to his original paint. Looked great from 20 feet away... A little rougher when you got right up on it. They have a different type they use for external application that s a little smoother than the normal bed liner material. Not a bad way to go and should wear like iron... Go for it! Post a couple picts if you do it.

A kid around here was driving a Jeep Cherokee all stripped down and wheelered out. The entire thing was linexed inside and out and served the purpose. Pretty cool.

Not for me , but go for it.

this is the very road that toasted my orgional paint, small hardwood alders grow along the road bed and scratch up the truck. I put 3 coats of meguaries wax on my narrow toyota and it held up ok but I feel line x is the only fix for the wide full size dodge:

I don't know the brand of the one I saw. It actually seems like a good idea, have thought of it myself. But wasn't sure about the UV light thing. But if they have a product that will hold up it does look cool.

local quote for line x was $2500 so thats totally out since thats $500 more than what I paid for the freakin truck. SO, looks like the Raptor liner is it as 2 kits would only run around $300 from amazon and my friend has a nice 40x48 heated shop with a huge compressor
