To Spray Or Not To Spray?
I am thinking of changing the set up on my truck. Maybe taking off the TST and going with No2. Any feed back or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! How big of a shot can I spray and still be kind of reliable? Mods are listed in my signature. Thanks guys!

I don't run timing on the TST. I run the smarty on 9 though. The reason I thought about getting rid of the TST is my truck doesn't seem to "like" it all the time. Sometimes it really runs like crap. Few others with TST had this happen too. Something in the wiring....or so I'm told.

I may get a little personal, but if you don't mind me asking.....
What catcher do you run your smarty on, and what No2 set up are you using. I want to get everything( including spray) on the truck and working right by the 27th. Local DTR dyno day.

There is no real downfall to running NOS. It essentially is turbo in a bottle. THe more fuel you have the more NOS you can run. I usually work my way up in jet size until you hear it "shoot ducks" which is a popping sound, then back it down one jet size. Get a bottle heater as well if it gets below 80deg where you are. That way you can keep the bottle pressure constant for more consistant results.

If you can't generate tons of smoke...I mean coal train on a WOT pass...NO2 won't help....TST and Smarty with a little pressure and a 2 or 3 stage N02 setup will get you over 1000hp with a high flowing turbo and some good big Fluxes if the rest of your truck can handle it...A set of twins is a longterm cheaper investment...that will be on tap all the time...not just when the bottle is opened. Alot of jurisdictions are willing to charge you with Dangerous Driving just for having a N02 setup installed in your truck with the bottle in place. ks
