I just bought an 01.5 2500 Sport 4x4. The PO had aftermarket tires and wheels on it, but sent the stock wheels. They are missing the center caps. Are the sport wheels different than the other packages from 2001? What center caps do I need to get? Anyone have pics? Thanks for the info!

 

As far as I'm aware, wheels were not one of the differences between the sport and SLT.

 

No difference. Though, aluminum versus chrome wheels was an OPTION I believe. Were center caps the same for the two?

 

Go to a dealer and the parts department can look up your vin and tell you what came on the truck.

 

Center caps for all the wheels 94-02 are the same,chrome or aluminum.The only difference would be if the truck was a lower optioned version that had the steel road wheels with black center caps...............Andy

 

Someone told me center caps from 03+ will fit my wheels. This doesn't sound right to me. Any thoughts on this?
