You should have one located at the rear end.

Question

Anyone got the PN for the read end speed sensor? I replaced my tranny speed sensor due to the weird things my speedo and cruise control do, but it did not help. I mechanic buddy swore this was what I needed, but I am thinking what I read on the Internet about the tranny sensor only "telling" the computer to "pay attention" to the rear sensor for the actual speed data, is true now.
This kind of makes sense because the problems I am experiencing are mainly when I hit bumps, which would affect the rear more than the tranny, due to its proximity to the road. What happens? My speedo jump anywhere from 5 to 15 miles per hour up, usually. Sometimes it drops for a second. The cruise, and not necessarily when the speedo freaks out, suddenly decides I'm not going fast enough and the truck shoots forward (thanks Don M) 5-15 MPH faster than the cruise was set.

Thanks,
Chris

Ok, that one must be for the antilock breaks.

There should be another on on the transmission somewhere.

Look around the tail shaft, probably looks similiar to the one on the pumpkin.
