I'll be removing most components from fender wells etc. & painting black. Shouldn't be too bad once I remove the fender to replace it.

Found 1/4" of mud on the lower bedside, I'm removing the mud & straightening the panel.

Today I finished blocking the roof, removed the bed & sanded the back of the cab. Then removed the doors, sanded the jambs.

Lookin good... trust me all the work will pay off when the clear goes on... It wasn't long ago I was a sanding ****, but it was all worth it when I rolled my 92 out in the sun for the first time!!

Thanks. I sure hope so. If not, I'll shoot it again till it does. I'm not afraid of work.

You going with a Sport frontend? Itd look bad-a if you were. Something about that color and the chrome/gray plastic frontend wouldnt jive AT ALL!!

I wanted to, but money is getting tight. I will probably just do it this summer. The Line-x is gonna be $1000 & I am more worried about doing that. I can do the sport anytime.

Remind me again that all this work will be worth it in the end, because right now this truck looks like SH!^! Today I sanded the entire passenger side rocker to bare metal & coated with Picklex. Then I removed the hood, cowl cover, rad support & drivers side doors. I removed all the sill plates, weatherstripping & got the drivers side jamb ready to sand tomorrow. The truck looks like a parts truck now.

Try spraying the bumper cap and lower cover body color. The guy I sold my 99 regcab did this and the mirrors and it looks real good. Its white though, I don't know if that makes a difference?

I may do that, but I'd like to find a sport bumper, grille if possible. I have a brand new chrome grille sitting here & also have brand new lower grey bumper cover.
