Painting my truck with pics
Lookin good... trust me all the work will pay off when the clear goes on... It wasn't long ago I was a sanding ****, but it was all worth it when I rolled my 92 out in the sun for the first time!!
I'm not afraid of work.
I wanted to, but money is getting tight. I will probably just do it this summer. The Line-x is gonna be $1000 & I am more worried about doing that. I can do the sport anytime.
Remind me again that all this work will be worth it in the end, because right now this truck looks like SH!^!
Today I sanded the entire passenger side rocker to bare metal & coated with Picklex. Then I removed the hood, cowl cover, rad support & drivers side doors. I removed all the sill plates, weatherstripping & got the drivers side jamb ready to sand tomorrow. The truck looks like a parts truck now.

Try spraying the bumper cap and lower cover body color. The guy I sold my 99 regcab did this and the mirrors and it looks real good. Its white though, I don't know if that makes a difference?

I may do that, but I'd like to find a sport bumper, grille if possible. I have a brand new chrome grille sitting here & also have brand new lower grey bumper cover.
