Painting my truck with pics
Nice stuff buddy. Its gonna be a new ride again that you can actually still use. I had mine truck all juiced up for awhile. I'm gonna try the near stock for awhile. New wheels always is a nice bling on a freshly painted truck. You gonna put on new trim and glass? Its the small details that just finish the ride off nice. I will doing that with mine but first I have to put a few more dents into it first.
Dumb question for ya, is the rear frame boxed on your truck? I saw the earlier truck wasn't, and I'm sure that mine, the frame is boxed from front to back. Anyways, I could be sniffing too much diesel fumes lately.

Too much diesel, none of these trucks have a fully boxed frame from the factory.
Ya I'm wrong. My memory was off. I found out this morning when I actual got down and looked. I thought I remember drilling thru two sides of the frame for my fass pump. Its been about five-six years ago..
I'm not posting any more pics until the truck is complete. I think it would be best if you guys get the full effect at the end, then give me honest opinions on how it looks.
Just kidding, hope to paint it sunday, then I'll get some pics.

You had me thinking that the dealer cut it off & hauled it in for scrap.
So why didn't dodge box the entire frame? Ya I thought that I was on to something. I kinda missed that one. Keep the pictures coming. Its good to find similar guys that actually do their own work and are proud of it. Keep up the good work buddy.
I'm excited for my brother, but it just figures his wife would go into labor on truck paint day.
I told her to hold it back till the truck is painted.

I agree with you but why is the front boxed and rear not. I know the rear weight loadings isn't to high. I bet that boxing the frame would make it too stiff and cause stress cracks/fatigue issues would occur. A bit of bending here and there isn't too bad anyways on the bumpy stuff.

My brother is a member of DTR [Brian Lent] Congrats Brian!!!
Today I pulled my truck back into the garage after giving the garage/truck a thorough cleaning, putting up new plastic on ceiling/walls. I'm going out in the morning to finish masking. Then I'll heat the garage & start spraying by lunch time. Wish me luck.
