Fuel Level Unit No Change Over Miles

Was checking my truck to see if I had any codes and this code was set on my PCM. Anyone seen this code before and does this code indicate any failure in the trucks equipment that I can prevent.

The fuel gage worked as usual I did not observe any issues during normal operation.

Also received the generic DTC code P1693.

The fuel level arm in the tank probably hung up or was dirty causing the error to be set. Nothing you can do until it fails, then replace the sending unit.
