One piece front bumpers replacement ideas and options

I am looking to replace the stock front bumper on my 96 with a solid one piece steel/aluminum design bumper. I have never like the multiple plastic piece design of the stock set up. However, I do not want to buy a winch bumper or the massive ranch hand "deer stopper" types. Just about everything I have seen aftermarket has been one of those 2 types. Any source suggestions and photos of what you have on your truck would be helpful

Ok, no responses. Perhaps they do not exist?

We make an economical, strong, non-winch bumper for the 2nd gen trucks. Contact us or PM me for more information

If this is Evan, I have talked to you on the phone since I posted but thanks for replying. I like your design best over everything I have seen.

I don't particularly care for the gawdy junk that most aftermarket bumpers are. I needed a winch, though and my taste may be different, but the least ugly IMO were the Ruenel and Buckstop without the brush guards. I got the Buckstop in Aluminum. I'm sure they would make you one without the light and winch pockets if you desired.

I looked at the Ruenel bumpers. Nice design and look well built but they are double the cost of Backwoods. So far, they make the most modest style I have seen with the best price point.

You may still be able to get an Aliarc bumper for the truck. They are aluminum, very clean looking solid bumpers. They are the closest I have found to factory shape/size, but built much tougher.

I made my own. I started with a full size cardboard template that I fitted to the truck and then took that to a local welding/fabricating shop. He took the template, cut and bent the steel to shape for me to finish. I have customs on the front and rear...
