My 98 24v has 12v dash gauges
depending on the year 98 vrs 98.5 you may have a 12V. Not hamering you but take a look at the motor. the 98 had a 12v for half the year so you could get the best truck ever. rear opening doors and a 12v
Mopar felt it wasn't necessary to update some diagrams in the owners manual for some odd reason. My 99 has some pictures that are clearly for the 94-97 trucks only, including a picture of the dash. The 98 12 valves are EXACTLY like the 98.5 24 valves interior and body wise.
There is one difference between the '98 12v and the rest of the second gen 24v dashes/clusters is that the 12v red line is at 3K, while the 24v is at 3400.
I take it that what I just mentioned is not what you're talking about. I assume someone put the old interior in there. My question is WHY??? I can only assume that the previous interior was damaged some how. Do the seat belts feed out of the seats?

I have a 24v, but my oil pressure instrument has 0-40-110 for range and there is no sucurity light, that my owners manual says I should have on the 24v instrument cluster.

Oh, I'm starting to see more and more now. My friends dad has a 98.5 24 valve also, oil pressure gauge is different and redline is different also from my 99. I guess since they made those changes for the 98 12 valve they felt they had to use what supply of those instrument clusters they had.
