Manual front seat into a truck with Stock electric front seat
Hey guys, i have a 98.5 24v. Came with stock leather interior and the front seat is SHOT. I mean destroyed. Leather is hard and ripped and conformable to sit on even with covers. My front 40/20/40 bench is electric with buttons to move the driver seat.
I have got a line on a cloth 40/20/40 front seat. However it is a manual not an elctric seat.
Does anyone know if this will plug up correctly to my electric seat connector? Id aslo like to seat belt light to go off

A manual seat will have no motors and no plug ins other than the seat belt one.
I bet you could bolt the old seat brackets and motors on your new seat frame.
That is how I would try to solve the puzzle.
Or you could just bolt in the new seat and then have a manual seat.
You will need to find a seat out of a '98-'02 quad cab so you retain the seat belt in the upper seat.
The reg cabs and earlier seats will not have the belt built into the seat.

Not sure if the 98 up is the same as the 97 down, but it is super simple to just remove the 4 bolts that hold the seat to the tracks.
That way you save trying to unbolt the usually rusty track to body bolts, not to mention you will retain your power seats.
