leaking steering pump

leaking steering pump

I was putting my plow frame on today and I found a leaking steering pump the truck has only 631 miles on it. Is this a normal thing that leaks ???<br>Alan

Is it the steering pump or the box? Many of us have had trouble with the steering box leaking due to loose bolts on it. A few turns with a socket solves the problem. If it is the pump, I would still check all of the fittings for tightness before taking it back to the *******. 5 minutes of your time vs. who knows how long at the *******.
