The tank on my power steering pump is leaking.
The bottom of the tank looks a little rusty but is solid.
Although it seems as if the fluid is weeping right through it.
It dosent seem like the hoses are leaking.
Does anyone have any experience with swapping out the pump?

I'm just going by bad memory here , once you have the pump on the bench there are some bolts and or nuts on the back side that you remove then the sheet metal can will side off sometimes with a little help, once off there will be a O'ring around the pump body that should be replaced, if your lucky this may be were the leak is , if not then with some cleaning and insection you should be able to see where else it could be leaking, all the parts should be avalible one at a time from a napa.
