Leaking Power Steering Pump
My 01 Ram power steering pump is leaking at the seal on the shaft... I would like if anyone had trouble with one and it one can buy just the shaft seal or have to get a new pump unit....

my dad had his 97' p.s pump spraying like a fire hydrant 1st 10,000 miles :'( have dodge fix it if its still in warranty. I think you can get the seals to fix it to.

Email this guy, he sells the special o-ring and oil seal for the pump. "John Strenkowski" <jvssyn@rcn.com> <br><br>FWIW though...I would let warranty cover it.

hey, my 02 does the same thing just a few drips if i dont drive it for a few days.just hasn,t bothered me enough to schedule an appointment and take it back 3 times till they fix it.
