I would bet there is a pretty easy way to tell if you knew what you were looking for under the hood... Unfortunately I have no clue what I'm looking for unless it had big military style stenciled letters saying MAGIC REMOTE CONTROL BOX!!

Did you find the fob programming procedures worked? :'( I have had no luck. I think I'm following the directions, but who knows. ???
