Jumped ship now have a 3rd gen

well I had decided to get out of the second gen, my old one served me well, but its been replaced with an 03, if I get the same service out of this one I'll be happy, I'm enjoying the better ride quality and the quieter cab, but sorely miss the power my 01 has. I guess I'll be spending more time in the 3rd gen forums.

I did the same thing but missed my '01 too much. So guess what...I sold the '03 and kept the '01.

3G + Smarty = POWER

Nice truck. Wish I still had my 05. It was amazing to me just how much different an animal it became when I put a level 3 program to it. Practically NO turbo lag; made it a breeze getting on the Interstate. Almost as fun as my 09 Challenger, but I digress. Ironically, I'm looking at a 2G 12V for a (weather) day driver.

Nice looking 03!
But all that work on the 01 just out the door? Sad.
Better ride than the Carli??

I've come close to a 3rd Gen several times... each time I can't let my 2nd Gen go. And I don't need, want nor can I use two diesel trucks! But if I could find a very low mileage, pristene 09 longbed.......

I cant afford 2 trucks either, so the 01 is listed in a local classifieds.
as for all the work I had to do on the 01, it was only repairs to make it better, funny that my 2nd gen had more 3rd gen parts on it just to make it reliable.
Carli springs certainly improved the ride, so much better than the stock set up, ride differences between the two trucks is not really comparable, the 3rd gen is still a better ride.
I really like the cab space/quietness/4 doors, my only regret was I wish I had done it sooner.
