Electrical Question!

Are there any 12v keyed wires on the PCM?

I just installed Warn 350F Fog lights. Great price and they have a remote activation switch (no wires through the fire wall).
The only place, on my CTD, to mount the electronic receiver/activator box was on the fender near the factory air intake hole.
But the remote switch inside the cab does not have a light to indicate if lights are on or off, so danger is leaving them on when shutting the truck off. I don't want to use the low beam wire, as recommended in directions.
Installing fog lights and Computer chip boxes is about the extent of my electrical expertise. I need a 12v, keyed wire as near the air intake as possible.

Hey Row, I would thread a wire thru to the fuse block or into the cab and jump into a keyed wire on this one.

Messing with the ECM'v voltage that close to the box would give me nightmares!

Yeah, Expected to hear that suggestion.
Figured I'd probably have to do that.... just thought I'd ask!

I would fish a wire to the fuse box myself. I have a 4 channel remote to run my lights and have it hooked to the same wire I used for my gauges, the stereo fuse. I tap the wire on the back of the panel downstream of the fuse. ( that is if you pull the fuse, the circuit is dead on that wire). That way you are using the fuse for the stereo to pop.

Wiper motor has a 12V RUN/ACC circuit that you can tie into at the PDC or at the wiper motor itself. I'm assuming you are just using this for a signal and not the load of the lights correct?

Just a quick look at the FSM, sure there are more switched in the engine bay, that was the quickest straight shot I found.

Correct. Everything I've found is on other side of engine. They will work.....just thought there might be something closer to box.
