Insurance
I think that with my luck in a month or two I'd be seling my truck for salvage and having to buy a new one.
Is there a way to lessen the coverage, but not drop it? Some companies have like a low mileage plan, for a senond car and such.
Maybe you could just lower the premium by increasing the deductible?

With my luck, as soon as I got off the phone with the insurance agent changing to liability only, some clown would steal my truck, drive into a hurricane, get crunched by a falling tree branch, and get hit & totalled by an uninsured motorist.

I did an idiot
thing over thanksgiving. Left my tailgate down and backed into a tree. It cost about $1200.00 to replace the tailgate. At todays material and labor cost it does not take much to rack up a big bill.
Glad I had full coverage.
