Insurance costs?

I'm curious to find out what I should consider a good insurance rate for the truck in my sig. Would anyone care to post their yearly rate here so I can compare? I know there are variables like age and driving record, so say....uh..over 40 and a good driving record.

Live is good

Man... I wish I was paying that... mines 953/6 months. 1 violation from 2000 (only 1 I have ever had, been driving since I was 16) & no accidents. > I'm 28. I hate the insurance company's blanket stereotype of people.

Tony

Re:Insurance costs?

Darn,I like these rates.
Since I have to carry commercial ins $1.000,000 liability and the best physical damage I hav found is $1,000 deductible.
$170 per month. It's what is called bobtail ins
Think it is probably so high because to many people drive like they are in their smaller cage with no load.
Shafe

Re:Insurance costs?

Approximately $660/6 months, AAA, $500 deductible. This is for liability, comp, collision, replacement cost policy, and some coverage for accessories. 36, not married, no accidents that were my fault in 20 years.

Re:Insurance costs?

Not too many replys, but there is a range there. I guess my rates are OK. I'm paying "Full-Timers" insurance on my truck and Montana 5th wheel (full replacement on the 5'r) for a total of $1200 per year. That includes towing for the 5'r and truck.

I'm paying a little over $1200 a year currently. I'm 19 years old with "good grade benefits".

I've never had an accident, and only one speeding ticket.

The accident claim was paid in October and started new policy with the CTD the next day. It took this long to figure out that they should raise my rates? ??? Oh well, I thought it would go up more than that.

Re:Insurance costs?

$597.00 for 6 months. $500 coll deductible, $50 comp deductible. $300,000/$100,000/$50,000. Includes loss wages and loan gap insurance (in the event "I" wreck her and owe more then what she is worth). Multi car discount and excellent driving record.

Hey, Someone should offer exclusive Cummins Diesel truck owners insurance. I wonder if we could get a group discount?

Re:Insurance costs?

$850 per year this price would include the cost of my $1,000,000 Umbrella policy. I have $500 deductable, live in a small town but drive a new 4x4 which is higher cost to insure than a 2x4. Never had a ticket in my life and I am 53 Hope this helps. I use Liberty Mutual, they are top rated for taking care of their customers. Had Hail damage to my 2000 3500QC 4x4. Had it appraised at a couple of places and they just cut me a check for $2800. They also cover my house a put a new roof on after the hail damage. No rate increases after the claims. Give them a call. I don't have any relationship to Liberty Mutual other than being a customer for the last 34 years.
