I love it when an auction on ebay starts out like this.

HELLO EVERYONE, I HAVE HEAR, A REAL RARE HARD TRUCK TO FIND. IT IS A 1998 QUAD CAB SHORT BED 4X4. WITH THE FIRST 24 VALVE ISB CUMMINS DIESEL ENGINE.

The shame is that people won't even catch the spelling error and people pay way too much for things on ebay. Also, since when is a 24 valve rare and what makes it the first 24 valve . I love when you see the ads that say "Cummings" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also like it when you call people on auto trader and ask if its a 12 valve and they say they didnt put a 12 valve in a 98. A ******* today tried to tell me there were no quad cab 12 valves i gave him a vin to look up and he said "well what do ya know you were right". First time i have ever had a ******* tell me that. lol

I brought my truck to the Dodge dealer here looking for a power steering pump, the guy behind the desk called it a cummings twice and i corrected him, the third time I told him Id find my parts some where else and i left. lol

It is amazing how stupid some people can be!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You would expect a parts salesman at the Dodge dealer would know it is CUMMINS !!!!!!!!

My wife even knows that its called a cummins!!
and she's knows the differnece between the 24 and 12 valve but she's calls them flappers

12 Flapper, Do you have a long bed or short bed? I have the same truck but a 1997 with the long bed. Even the same colors!!!!!! Where is Towanda Pa???

If you look at a PA map, look in the NE corner, count 3 counties over to bradford county, and its right in the middle. Thats the best way I can explain it. Everyone tells me its out in the Boonies but I like it.
