How close are your tranny lines? (4x4's)

In the last couple months I've had to replace some trans cooler lines that had been contacting the front crossmember and had rubbed through causing loss of the trans fluid (mostly 3/4-1tons all 4x4). I checked my 01 3/4 ton 4x4 and they were close enough to warrant covering them with a section of heater hose to guard against damage. I've also done the same to several customer vehicles. How's yours?

Mine were rubbing... I had put garden hose on about a year ago though... so I never had any significant wear on them!

Gee, never really looked close at mine. I think they are fastened to the engine somehow. I will have to check it out.

I replaced mine about 6 months ago. But it was only cause I wanted to put in a tranny temp gauge. The stock line looked fine after ~38k or so miles. All of them look fine.
