Keep a close eye on your Drain plug!
Man, I crawled under the truck yesterday to take some exaust measurements, and lo and behold, I see a little oil about to drip off the oil pan drain plug. Hadn't touched it since my last oil change 3k ago. Sure enough, it was finger loose. So I cranked it back down nice and snug, but man, I bout had a heart attack when I got to thinking if I hadn't looked under there, I woulda lost the plug and all my pressure by now. And the scary thing is I know I torqued the plug down good when I put it in. Are the vibes enough on a CTD that this is something I should keep an eye on in the future? Shouldn't matter, but the plug is Geno's magnetic tip plug w/ the fiber washer that came w/ it.

I have heard that if you over tighten the plug which is easy to do from what I understand it will leak from then on ... this fella suggested using a torque wrench to tighten the plug? I think I would look into the problem before something goes a stray like the oil pan ...... this note now was hear say from another Cummins owner maybe someone can confirm what I heard
