My 2002 doesn't have one, nor do any 2003's or 2004's.

No insult taken.
i was just stating my experience, but each person inturprets things differently, my experience was that everyone who knew my vehicle and a friend of mines (who's truck we put a fiberglass hoodon) commented about how quite mine had become(granted its a ford) and how noisy his was after the hood swap. Probably shouldnt have made the broad claim but oh well.

Pulling this subject a little further out of my own curiosity, has anyone ever tried any of the sound deadening products such as dynamat in place of the hood liner? If they did, how'd it work out?
