Help With Radio Replacement

After 23 years and 400,000 miles the radio in my '95 2500 failed me today.
I like listening to the radio when I drive.
I don't want or need a fancy replacement. I don't need an I-phone interface, etc. I just need a good radio, although if it had a CD that'd be great.

Any suggestions? Will a Dodge radio from a later year fit the hole in the dash?

Any year Dodge truck radio from '89-'02 should fit.

I did the same and installed a 2nd gen radio in my '91.0.
All I need is a CD player and a the radio to function.

Not to mention radios from other Dodge/jeep products from the same vintage fits....... I think I have a radio from a 98 Intrepid in mine ( or was it a jeep GC ? ) anyway, multiple options.

Something that surprised me, I pulled a radio from an ‘87 ram to put in my ‘95 and it was the exact same radio!

I used the adapter to fit our 1.5 DIN sized radio and then bought a good CHEAP radio. I got more presets, a USB so I could play MP3s, and more power per channel for less than the cost of a junkyard replacement.
