I`m sure this is a real dumb question , but where do you find the GVW on my truck . Looking at shocks and they ask if it`s GVW is over or under 8800 lbs . With this being a 2001 4x4 and diesel I`m guessing it`s over 8800 . Am I wrong ?

Thanks johnh . According to that mine is 8001-9000 GVW . That solves that question .

It should be on the driver's side door jam at the latch.....with vin, tire size and pressure etc....
