7500LB GVW or 8800LB gvw brakes?

I thought all 2nd gen calipers/rotors/pads interchanged betweem 2500 and 3500's. minus abs/non abs.....
But why do I keep seeing listings for 7500 lb gvw brake parts vs. 8800lb gvw parts?!

I think the 7500 Lb brakes would have been for light duty gasser 3/4 tons. Pretty sure all the diesel versions are 8K up GVW to meet emissions.

3500's would be more like 11K GVW.

Could they be different depending on the rear axle?
3500's all came with Dana 80's, 2500's came with either Dana 80's or Dana 70's.

Look on the doorjamb, there should be a sticker there that tells you the GVWR of the truck. There are two setups and I think the difference is a heavier duty axle setup in common with the 3500. I know on mine its 8800lbs
