Electric Seat Adjustment

For as long as I can remember, the power seat has refused to stay up (height adjustment of bottom bit). Every morning it is all the way down. You can raise it up, and over the next hour it will find its way down to the bottom. You might be able to adjust it again at this point, but normally the motor is very weak by this point and your best bet is to wait until the next day to start the process again. I understand the motor being old and weak, by why won't the adjustment stay up? Does the motor keep the seat in position? Seems stupid to me... BTW its a 99 model. Thanks!

Need to replace the motor. If quad cab truck, all three motors under your seat are the same. Find the one thats in question and replace.
Should cure the problem.

That's what I was afraid of. I can't find a current part number for just the motor and all of the parts trucks around here are being sold in "big peices" so no one will split up the little bits I need. I'll keep looking I suppose. Thanks!
