Electric Drivers Seat-partially works
if the motor doesn't move/make any noise its possible the switch has failed. More commonly is that the motor itself has stopped working for one reason or another. Dodge claims nothing on the seat is serviceable, but that's a lie. I had the same issue with my seat, one motor would turn only a full revolution them just quite. Removed the seat then remove the suspect motor from the seat frame, opened it up and did a simple continuity test on the brushes. Turned out dodge used 2 copper/brass plates to make the circuit on one of the brushes and appeared they were glued together, and the glued started to separate so one of the brushes were not getting complete power. I simply sanded down the top of the plates and ran some solder over them and tested it again. What do you know now they have the same continuity to each brush. Reinstalled the motor and everything has been working great since!
on my pass seat it would go forward but not back, took the switch apart and sprayed with tuner cleaner from radio shack works fine now
switch can be a pita to get apart all the way so be patient
