Do I need an adjustable track bar?
I checked my track bar today and another Moog is shot. I guess that is what feels so loose in the front end of the truck? Anyway, I have decided to go with the Solid Steel 3rd Gen conversion bracket. My truck is stock height so will a non-adjustable track bar be fine or will I have to have the adjustable one to center the axle? I have a connection for OEM parts and should be able to get one for under $200.....maybe close to $150? Is there anything wrong with going with the OEM bar vs. SSI's non-adjustable or adjustable bar?

The SSI units are pretty beefy.
My 01 is stock height, however, I went with the adjustable bar, to be able to truly center the axle under the truck.
That. combined with the DSS, is the best money that can be spent on parts.
I have heard of a lot of other outfits building front end parts, but I can only speak from the experience of 160,000km with the SSI parts, over some of the roughest roads in the north, and not one problem to report.
